South Pines Somethin2TalkAbout, or “Chatter” as we like to call her, came to us at a time when most said we were crazy to get a second dog.  I myself was pregnant, and really did not need one more thing. But, Southern Pines dogs, they are just too wonderful for words. We could not resist. In my whole life, I have truly never met an athlete like my dear little Chatter.  She has the determination, grace and style which come from many years of careful breeding. In the field she ranges till she is nothing but a dot on the horizon, but if there are birds out there she will find them, and then wait patiently for you to catch up.  In the house she is the laziest house dog, but grab a ball and I swear she has springs on her feet.  Her bloodline focused on the versatility of the GSP, and versatile she is. GSP's as a breed are active but Chat raises the bar for everything. If it’s hunting she will find twice as many birds as another dog and will go all day long and rest for 5 min and be ready to go again. Running, she is the fastest thing most have seen on 4 legs. Playing fetch...hours upon hours without tiring. In the water she will swim for hours. Yet with all that energy she is just as content to sleep in her bed all day...In all honesty she is my light, the most wonderful dog I have ever encountered in my life.   We have just completed a breeding with her and I am beyond excited to see what her offspring will bring to Quaker Pointe.
