Beginning of weaning process for Echo's Puppies

With teeth sprouting through, it is time to start the weaning process with the pups. We have blended up  milk, Puppy food and some DHA rice baby cereal for them to start off with...kind of like a pasty gruel. The girls are all for it, Pink sitting in the dish and was eating all around her... the Boys seem to be a bit more reserved and green is having none of it. Oh My, guess I have a mama's boy. With Lily's help their first feeding was pretty smooth, and definitely a lot messy! 

Echo's Puppies at 3 weeks

WELL, lucky for me I bought some new running shoes! because these puppies are OFF... Lots of activity and growth between 2nd and 3rd week. All Pups teeth have sprouted through and we are going to begin the weaning process later today. Echo continues to be a stellar mom as one can plainly see from the above photo. We are introducing them to various noises and new textures and footing daily. Hoping to get them outside on Sunday when weather warms up.
